Services.
All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth and limited to clients located in California. Below is what each kind of work looks like in practice.
Couples & family therapy.
Fifty-minute sessions for couples, families, or parent-coaching, with room to slow down, hear what's underneath the conflict, and practice doing it differently while we're still in the room together.
What we might work on
- Recurring conflict cycles and communication breakdown
- Repair after rupture, betrayal, or distance
- Parenting alignment and co-parenting after separation
- Family dynamics across generations and cultures
- Blended-family transitions
- Pre-marital and big-decision conversations
One-on-one therapy.
Fifty-minute sessions for teens, emerging adults, and adults. Most clients begin weekly, that rhythm tends to give the work enough traction to actually shift things, and we'll adjust frequency together once we have a sense of pace.
What we might work on
- Anxiety, panic, sleep, and the body's stress response
- Depression and the long quiet kinds of low mood
- Trauma history (recent or longstanding)
- Grief: people, relationships, identities, futures
- Perfectionism, procrastination, self-criticism
- Codependency and boundary work
- Cultural and identity exploration, intergenerational dynamics
- Life transitions and meaning-making
Therapy for kids and adolescents.
Children show us what's going on through play long before they have the words. With younger kids, sessions often blend talk and play; with teens, we'll meet them where they are, sometimes that's deep conversation, sometimes it's the slow build of trust.
With your permission, I can collaborate with parents, pediatricians, teachers, and school staff so the support extends beyond our hour together. Boundaries and child confidentiality are discussed up front.
Common reasons families come in
- Anxiety, big emotions, sleep, school refusal
- Mood, irritability, withdrawal
- Friendship and bullying issues
- Family transitions: divorce, loss, moves, blended families
- Self-regulation and executive functioning
- Identity and cultural questions in adolescence
Not sure which service fits?
It's okay to come in unsure. We'll figure it out together.
